Artist Statement

Clay has always been my preferred medium in artistic impression for over 25 years, although I enjoy painting as well. Each piece is individually handmade, original and one of a kind. Colour variances and mistakes are left as they were part of the process.
Although clay is relatively valueless in it's raw state, it can be transformed by pushing, scraping, paddling into almost any imaginable shape and then decorated with designs and glaze.
